Each work to restore and develop the Vital Energy essential to overcoming stress. This force of life, or 'Chi' as the Chinese call it, is the life force inherent in all things. These exercises are for restoring the balance in the body.
Traditional Chinese Medicine says that our animating force flows through channels in the body called meridians, which connect every organ and system in an invisible network.
Lack of vitality, lack of well-being, feeling stressed and ultimately, illness and disease, both cause and are caused by blockages in this flow, creating a lack of balance in our system.
What we are doing in these three approaches is using specific movements in order to clear out blockages in our
chi energy
system, re-establishing its natural harmony and beginning to function on a higher level of health and well-being.
For how we experience life is always a reflection of our energy levels:When we say we are feeling low' (or 'high') we are really talking about how much vitality we have, and how much and how harmoniously the life force is flowing through us.
