and Chinese Healthy Exercise

These practices are 'Balance Exercises' and even more so... Give them a try!

They help develop and integrate all our body systems, helping the person to regain health, strength and longevity, as well as a strong 'grounding', ie balance.

Tai Chi Postures have healing powers, whether as a standing Qi Gong (Chi Kung) ie a stance with regulated deep breathing, or as a moving exercise in a sequence of movements.

I want to emphasise that they are EASY and accessible to most people, at any age!

As I have described in the Stress Article , these exercises revolve around 'balance' and 'harmony'.

The Tai Chi Breathing page and Tai Chi Philosophy pages are quite informative.

Now, the following is absolutely from my own experience, I have not taken it from a book!

Tai Chi Movements have some specific EASY principles to respect, such as body alignment, so that vital energy is allowed to circulate and develop in the body.

Unlocked knees, hip and ankle joints, allow the muscles to relax and grounding to happen - and therefore balance.

It is EASY and accessible to most people at any age! It is actually a 're-learning' of natural body behaviour.

Use this page if you have any FEEDBACK or QUESTIONS to ask.

As we put our emphasis on balance and harmony, The Organic Skin Care Shop: The Web's Top-Rated Organic Skin Care Products is a great resource to take care of our body in a caring and wholesome way.

Energy Healing Therapy such as Chi Kung exercises, of which there are very many, help tremendously to get us 'grounded' again, and therefore 'balanced'. The EASY movement use breathing, posture and a certain concentration to gather, nurture and strengthen our 'chi' or vital energy, which will then serve to nourish and replenish our organs for the benefit of our health.

'Chinese Healthy Exercises' are sequences of movements that use the same basic EASY natural body principles as the exercises above, but are more like very EASY specific movements that act on the energy paths of the body to energise specific organs. These also can be practised at any age.

You can experience directly some of these movements as examples in your 7Day FREE Exercise program, email course.

As defined in http://physicaltherapy.about.com/od/balanceexercises :

‘Balance exercises are specific activities that help build lower extremity (or leg) muscle strength as well as improve your vestibular system, the organ associated with balance perception.

Balance exercises are particularly beneficial in the elderly as they have been shown to help prevent falls. Each year, U.S. hospitals have 300,000 admissions for broken hips, and falling is often the cause of those fractures. Balance exercises can help you stay independent by helping avoid disabilities that may result from falling.

Your brain, muscles and bones all work together to maintain your body’s balance and keep you from falling.

These three organ systems are focused on in balance exercises to provide a complete integrative exercise program. Often strength is initially targeted with exercises later modified to incorporate the vestibular system (in the ear) by one's stance/closed progression.'

These three EASY Movements Disciplines I am introducing in this program meet all those requirements and more....
